নদিয়া কৃষ্ণনগর এ প্রথম কুকুরদের জন্ম নিবন্ধন শুরু হলো। কুকুর কামড়ানো ফলে চারিদিকে জলাতঙ্ক ভীতি ঔষধ পেতে সমস্যা ।আনেক দিন আগে থেকেও এই কাজ শুরু করা যায়নি। বুধবার থেকে এই কাজ শুরু হলো । প্রথম ৫০ টি কুকুর পরীক্ষা করে ঔষধ দিয়ে ভ্যাকসিন দিয়ে ৫ দিন রেখে দেওয়া হবে। জন্মনিয়নতন করে যেখান থেকে ধরা হয়েছিল সেখানে আবার ছেড়ে দেওয়া হবে। দিনে দিনে কুকুর এর সংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে, সাধারণ মানুষ কে কামড়াচ্ছে তাই এই কমসূচি নেওয়া হয়েছে। কৃষ্ণনগর এ ৪০০০ কুকুর আছে। কুকুর গুলোকে ধরে নিয়ে পশুহাসপাতালে নিয়ে আসা হবে চিকিৎসক দিয়ে পরীক্ষা করে ঔষধ দিয়ে ,কুকুর অপারেশন নিতে পারে কিনা দেখা হবে। ৫দিন রেখে সুস্থ করে ছাড়া দেওয়া হবে তাদের l
