মুর্শিদাবাদের বহরমপুর রবীন্দ্রসদনে আয়োজিত হল সমবায় আলোচনা সভা, উপস্থিত ছিলেন সমবায় দপ্তরের মন্ত্রী আরুপ রায়, ছিলেন মুর্শিদাবাদের জেলা শাসক পি উল্গানাথান, অনুষ্ঠানটি আয়োজন করে জেলা কেন্দ্রিয় সবব্যায় ব্যাঙ্ক লিমিটেড, অনুষ্ঠানে মন্ত্রী বলেন জেলায় সমবায়ে বেশ ভালো কাজ হয়েছে, জেলা শাসক খুব ভালো কাজ করছে। গ্রাম অঞ্চলগুলিতে সবব্যায় ব্যাঙ্ক বেশ ভালো ভাবে কাজ করছে। গ্রামের মানুষদের টাকা রাখার অনেক সুবিধে হয়েছে। রাষ্ট্রায়াত্ব ব্যাঙ্ক গুলিতে মানুষের আস্থা চলে যাচ্ছে, আগের সরকারের দুর্নীতি থাকার ফলে ব্যাঙ্কের সেয়ার কমে গিয়েছিল কিন্তু আজ অনেকটাই সাভাবিক অবস্থা রয়েছে।
