স্ত্রীকে কটুক্তির প্রতিবাদ করায় বন্ধুর হাতে আক্রান্ত বন্ধু।ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে মালদার চাঁচোল থানার রানী কামাত জয় বাংলা গ্রামে । দিলীপ আলী ও মঞ্জুর আলী দুই বন্ধু। তাদের মধ্যে দিলীপ আলী পেশায় টোটো চালক। সোমবার রাত্রিবেলা দুই বন্ধু এক জায়গায় আড্ডা মারার সময় দিলীপ আলীর বউ কে নিয়ে মঞ্জুর আলী কটুক্তি করায় দুই বন্ধুর মধ্যে বচসা শুরু হয়।
জানা যাই , মদ্যপান করার সময় মঞ্জুর আলী এবং দিলীপ আলী মধ্যে হাতাহাতি শুরু হয় l মঞ্জুর আলী ধারালো অস্ত্র দিয়ে দিলীপ আলিকে কোপায়। সারা শরীরে প্রায় ৮ জায়গায় ধারালো অস্ত্রের আঘাত রয়েছে। গুরুতর আহত অবস্থায় দিলীপ আলীকে প্রথমে চাঁচোল মহকুমা হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। সেখান থেকে তাকে মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে স্থানান্তর করা হয়। বর্তমানে তার মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসা চলছে। দিলীপ আলী পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে চাঁচল থানায় একটি লিখিত অভিযোগ দায়ের করা হয়েছে। পুলিশ মঞ্জুর আলীকে গ্রেফতার করতে গেলে পালিয়ে যায় সে । পুলিশ মঞ্জুর আলীর খোঁজে তদন্ত শুরু করেছে l
